What are the latest techy gadgets that “WoWed!!” you? There’s the touchscreen Smartphones, the tablets, the wearable technology and now, an eyeglass and a watch. Is these for real? Google’s Glass Project is already on the way with its high-tech eyeglasses. While the world anticipates the release of that unique gadget, there is another one that the world is waiting for—the Apple iWatch.
Who can even think about creating a watch capable of HD recording and Wi-Fi? Apple is pushing the envelopes on this one too but who cares? It seems like whatever Apple releases, people go & buy it.
Contributing Factors of the Concept
Apple’s decision to create the iWatch is not out of the blue. This decision of Apple was probably influenced by several things. For one, there is an increase in wearable technologies today and Apple wants to get several things in this sector.
If you go to an Apple Store, you will see that pass the iPhones, iPads and Macbooks, there are several wearable technologies being sold. Some are the iHealth wireless blood pressure wrist monitor, iBGStar blood glucose sensor, Scosche Rhythm heart rate monitor armband and many more. What makes these things worth the money is that they monitor your health.
Another factor that may have influenced Apple’s decision to pursue the development of the iWatch is offering a wearable technology that is highly user-friendly. What you may notice among Apple users is that they love to use Apple gadgets once they get a hold of one. That is because it is easier to sync files and data together. Thus, iWatch users can easily synch their fitness and health data to their iPads, iPhones or Macbooks with ease. And a bunchfull of people worldwide are willing to pay good money for such convenience.
Pre-requisites of Apple iWatch
There is no question that Apple has been dominating in innovative techy ideas in the recent years. Despite of passing away of Steve Jobs, Apple was not slowing down with whatever they are doing. And there is also no denying that no matter how innovative their products are, people respond to it greatly. And now, here comes a high-tech watch with features you would never thought possible in a wristwatch.
The Apple iWatch features an 8 megapixel camera. You can take HD quality video recordings and photos from your wristwatch. The iWatch also has retina display or viewing pleasure. The iWatch can also be used for Face Time, Google Maps, iTunes and can run the usual applications seen in the iPhone and iTouch.
The other features include Wi-Fi Connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0. The iWatch is also capable of streaming music to your headphones or headset. The iWatch runs on a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. For memory, the iWatch offers 16 GB of internal storage. Further, the iWatch features a light sensor, accelerometer and a proximity sensor. How about the looks? The Apple iWatch will be coming with 8 wristbands so you can personalize your watch.
According to rumors, the iWatch will have instance access to messaging and can make and receive calls. According to rumors iWatch will feature Siri (Apple’s intuitive voice assistant) too! . For all these features, you have to fork out $199(approx).
But with all this said, are you willing to purchase an Apple iWatch? There will be a long wait for this device to hit the shelves, approximately three years. I wonder, won’t there be better watches by that time? Anyhow, some people say that they are more likely to buy Google Glass over the Apple iWatch. But I’m sure, the Apple hardcore loyalists will surely get their hands on this one.

Features of Latest OS which sets it apart : Windows 8

Latest windows 8 features

Microsoft Corporation has come up with its latest generation Operating System, to be named Windows 8. The system can be used in a desktop, a laptop and in tablets. The OS has raised the standards of experiencing a desktop or a laptop.

The Start Menu on Windows 8

The very first difference one would notice in the Windows 8 Operating System is the Start menu. To make it even easier for the touch screen laptops or desktop users and tablet owners as well, all the programs appear in tabular forms. This particular upgrade in the interface is obviously very amazing. This update will be providing us information on the go. For an example, one can say that the email tile should offer a summary on the latest emails received, on the tile itself. It is upto us if we wish to rearrange the tiles depending upon how often we use them.

The Windows store

The Windows 8 OS is also includes, the "Windows Store", which means that we can purchase applications from our computer itself. Moreover, we can avail a number of applications for zero cost.Ones, which are paid, are inexpensive.

Changes in the Interface

When the Windows 7 was launched, there was not such significant change in the interface, as it has been in the Windows 8 OS. One might need a bit of time to get comfortable to this interface. Windows 8 programs do not appear on the task bar. These programs are tablet friendly and they run in their own particular full screen mode. When we wish to switch to any windows 8 applications, we are require to tap at the right corner of the screen and then making the selection. A standard application will run in a familiar windows style.

Some Few Grievances

In-spite of all these updates, there are still few things that are desired. When we are running a number of programs, we might find it difficult to locate any one of them. Moreover, if the user is not the owner of a touch screen and instead has a multi-touch pad, many operations wouldn’t be supported as on touch screen. The techies will have a hard time to realize that Microsoft has become all the more unclear with the descriptions. While installation we would be receiving a particular status update, mentioning,
“Doping some stuff please wait”.
However, what we would actually like to know is what the stuff you are doing is.
In spite of these matters, it might be suggested that Windows 8 would be worthy investment. But, one must remember that there isn't any guarantee of the upgraded version. Its performance would depend.
Every program would eventually get installed, however while sometimes it would boot and sometimes it wouldn’t. It might stop working at all. The best thing would be to put up a back up and reinstall it afresh. It can be expected of Windows 8 to give a better experience.!!!!

"Android" vs "iOS"

Generally when people think about the device out there for their needs, they mostly think that an iOS device will fulfill their needs. This is mainly  because, Apple has been successful in marketing their devices as complete and enhancing for people’s lives. This is the reason because it exclusively uses iOS so that they can include the OS in their marketing strategies and showing people what it can do.

On the other hand, android is used by all the brands out there for smartphones except for BlackBerry and Nokia. They cannot really market anything about their devices except that they can run mobile apps found on Google.

These confusions makes very difficult for us to choose an operating system.
Here are some reasons why people choose Android over iOS:
